This is especially true if your brothers or sisters will go to great lengths to get on your nerves — the sister who’s constantly stealing your shirts, for example, or a brother who can’t help but take your electronics with him on long car rides.
However, parents often have a different view about sharing between their children. If the 2 kids share electronics, what’s the problem? That’s one less pair of AirPods they need to buy. If the kiddos have to share their electronics, parents are saving a great deal of money, for the small price of having to listen to their kiddos holler at each other all day long.
This 15-year-old girl is tired of giving up her headphones to her older brother so that he can listen to music during his hour-long ride to soccer practice. He apparently does this weekly, and naturally, his Mom drives him. What in the world is stopping him from just listening to the radio with his Mom? What is stopping them from buying an aux cord and letting him DJ out loud for the entire car ride? I mean, if he was really serious about getting in his music time, he could literally just play music out loud from his phone speaker. The Mom has literally expressed that she doesn’t like when he uses headphones in the same car — she finds it impolite. So why not side with the daughter, giving Mom the bonding time with her son that she wants, and letting her son DJ their weekly soccer car ride?
That seems like a good solution to me, but just check out the full story and see why this isn’t happening.
