One of the main perks of being a childfree millennial is being able to go on vacation whenever you want (and can afford it). You work hard, and play hard, right? So when this childfree 31-year-old decided it was time for a vacation, she made sure it was exactly what she wanted. She did her research, saved up her money, and booked a beautiful ocean front hotel room. It wasn’t too far from her distant relatives, but it was far enough that she was ready to have some much needed me-myself-and-I time. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of sharing her hotel info with her mom. She was excited about her trip since she hadn’t been on a real vacation in years! Her mom did what moms do and sent the info to the entire family chat, which included her entitled aunt.
Two weeks before her trip and she finds out her aunt booked the same hotel on the same week she is there. Now, as this hardworking 31-year-old was seeking solace, she had to figure out how to avoid her aunt, uncle, and their small children. Unfortunately, the first hour she was there, the aunt called her frantic because they got a parking lot view and they wanted her ocean front view. Of course, the entitled aunt demanded she switch rooms with them. Keep dreaming, auntie!
