Rebecca Kay Park (22) vanished on November 3, 2025 from Northern Michigan. She was reportedly 38/ 39 weeks pregnant with a baby boy at the time. Her remains were found in late November and her baby was not with her body.
Rebecca had a troubled childhood. Her biological father is allegedly a man named Fay or Fabian Strong and he is a registered sex offender.

The Unsealed Evidence website has screenshots regarding many of the people in this case.
Rebecca was placed in foster care at one point and is said to have eventually been adopted out. Rebecca also allegedly has two other children that she does not have custody of.
At the time of her disappearance and death, Rebecca was in a relationship with Richard Falor (43). Online sources indicate that the two were engaged and that he was the father of the unborn baby. The two allegedly had a roommate, and that person is also said to be a registered sex offender.
On Halloween weekend from Friday October 31 to Sunday November 2, Rebecca helped a friend named Amber move house. On Sunday November 2, Rebecca’s mother and sister took Rebecca to the hospital after she experienced contractions. Rebecca was checked, told that she was 1cm dilated and was sent home.
Rebecca was last seen on Monday November 3, 2025. The last person to see her was reportedly her biological mother, a woman named Cortney/Courtney Bartholomew – her name is spelled differently in varying reports. Comments state that Rebecca and Courtney were estranged from each other, so it seems strange that they were together? Also of note, Courtney’s husband Bradley is a registered sex offender.

Courtney apparently picked up Rebecca to run errands and to help her get laundry soap. Courtney also said that she gave Rebecca $2,000 inheritance money that day, but there is no proof of that transaction,
Rebecca allegedly told Courtney that someone was coming to pick her up. Courtney said that a dark-colored Impala-like car pulled up. The car was said to have round taillights and tinted windows.
Rebecca said to Courtney “Hold on. I got somebody to pick me up. This is just something I’ve got to do. I’m sorry.” She got into the front passenger seat and that was the last time she was seen alive. This was at around 11.30 pm that night.
On the morning of Tuesday November 4, 2025, Rebecca’s phone was discovered across the road from Courtney’s house. Rebecca was said to never be without her phone, so this raised an immediate alarm.
“Her phone was found on a two-track across the street from her mom’s, and anybody that knows Becca, she doesn’t go anywhere without her phone,” Richard said.
“Me and her have been together for a little over two years, and even when she’s not around me, she’s always in contact with me,” he said.
Over the next few days, friends and family tried to get in contact with Rebecca. There was no activity on her social media and she did not respond to any of the communication attempts.
By Thursday November 6, 2025, a missing person report was filed. Rebecca’s fiancé Richard (“Richie”) Falor reported her missing. His later interview contains discrepancies with Courtney’s timeline, including clothing description and the addition of a quote not mentioned by Courtney.
Richard would later speak of his alleged search for Rebecca. “Me, her mom and sister, we’ve all been calling the hospitals. I just want to know that she’s safe. Our son is safe,” he said.
Searchers began to look for Rebecca. On November 11, 2025, it was confirmed by authorities that there was no new evidence, no digital trace of Rebecca and no activity on her bank accounts. Searches had been conducted with K9s, drones, horses and multiple law enforcement agencies.
The terrain in the search area made searching difficult. Volunteers had to deal with thick wooded areas and swamps, privately owned land, as well as limited surveillance coverage.
Authorities also issued a public plea to Rebecca. “Rebecca, you are NOT in any trouble. Please contact us. We just want to know you’re safe.”
A reward of around $10,000 was announced on that day.
Tuesday November 18, 2025 was Rebecca’s due date.
On Tuesday November 25, 2025, a body was found. Media reports indicate that the body was discovered by Rebecca’s own father, and that she was found near Courtney’s home.
In a press release, the sheriff said the baby was not present when volunteer searchers discovered the body.
Authorities were obviously unable to confirm the identity of the remains at the time, pending further testing,
“The young lady that was found resembles Rebecca Park, the young lady who went missing on November fourth, and we are actively investigating that,” said Wexford County Sheriff Trent Taylor. “It’s a tragic time in our county, and hopefully this brings some closure to this awful incident.”
The same night the body was found, her fiance, Richard was arrested.
Rebecca’s sister, Kimberly Park was arrested around 1 a.m. the following morning.
Kimberly was charged with three counts, including tampering with evidence in a criminal case, lying to a police officer during a violent crime investigation, and filing a false report of a felony.
The judge said Kimberly is a flight risk, prompting the high cash bond.
When Kimberly appeared in court, the judge turned off the live stream.
“Kimberly Park, ladies and gentlemen, people in the court, media, and those on livestream,” said Judge Corey Wiggins. “The court has an ethical duty to ensure that the defendants in these cases can have a fair trial. The court is well aware of the publicity this case has received across the country. In order to protect the defendants’ interests in this case, the court is going to take the court off of livestream.”
Richard is facing a potential life sentence after being charged with two counts of delivering methamphetamine.
As a habitual offender with three previous attempted or completed felonies, his charges could lead to a life sentence.
He is also a registered sex offender. He previously was convicted of multiple criminal sexual conduct offenses, according to the Michigan Sex Offender Registry.

On November 29, an autopsy confirmed that the remains found did belong to Rebecca,. Authorities also confirmed that the baby was not found with the body.
In a press release, Sheriff Trent Taylor wrote:
‘We understand the public’s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation.’
On Tuesday December 2, 2025, it was announced that Courtney Bartholomew and her husband Bradly had been arrested and charged in the murders of Rebecca and her baby boy.
“This is, frankly, evil personified,” Wexford County Prosecutor Johanna Carey told the judge while asking that the Bartholomews be held without bail.
“Mr. Bartholomew brought Rebecca to their home, [he and Courtney] forced her into another vehicle and took her into the woods where they stabbed her, forced her to lie on the ground while they cut her baby out, and ultimately caused her death and the death of the baby. They then left Rebecca in the woods,” Carey said in court.
She called it a “case of premeditated torture and murder,” alleging that the Bartholomews “created a plan” and “conducted research.”
Both face one count each of first-degree murder, felony murder, torture, conspiracy to commit torture, assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth and conspiracy to commit assault on a pregnant individual causing miscarriage/stillbirth.
Each of those six charges carries a possible life sentence in prison.
They are also charged with one count each of unlawful imprisonment and removal of a dead body.
Courtney has since claimed that Bradly killed Rebecca as revenge against her fiancé, Richard, for reporting Bradly for a crime that led to his imprisonment.
Courtney admitted to investigators that she cut the baby out of Rebecca after she had died. She stated that Bradly then placed the baby in a cooler and disposed of it in a random trash container.
As of December 8, 2025, the baby’s remains have not been located.
