Chrishell Stause Criticizes Gwen Stefani For Promoting Controversial Paid Prayer App

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause criticizes Gwen Stefani for supporting the paid prayer app Hallow.

Gwen-DON’T SPEAK. Please take your own advice on this one🫠,” she wrote in the comments of an Instagram reel dissecting the musician’s advertisement. The first part, “Don’t Speak” is a clear nod to the 1996 song by No Doubt.

The video itself was a stitch from A Bit Fruity podcast host Matt Bernstein, who was breaking down Gwen‘s original advert.

Hallow is marketed as a “Christian prayer app that offers audio-guided meditation sessions to help us grow in our faith & spiritual lives and find peace in God.”

For his part, Matt explained how the app includes anti-abortion content and that it was funded by conservative venture capitalist and controversial figure Peter Thiel and Vice President JD Vance. Peter once wrote an essay alleging giving women the right to vote was bad for democracy.

Other celebrity supporters of the app include Chris Pratt and Mark Wahlberg.
