The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress Wenne Alton Davis has died.
The actress, who appeared in a season five episode of the Prime Video series, passed away this week after a tragic accident in New York City.

Wenne was crossing the street on Monday (December 8) just before 9pm and was fatally hit by a car. The NYPD said that a 61-year-old man was driving a black 2023 Cadillac XT6 and struck Wenne while making a left-hand turn at West 53rd Street and Broadway.
The police told People, “[Davis] sustained severe trauma to the head and body. EMS responded and transported [Davis] to Mount Sinai West, where she was pronounced deceased.”
“The operator of 2023 Cadillac XT6 remained on scene and was not injured as a result of the collision. There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad,” the statement added.
Wenne‘s appearance as a cop on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel marked her final on-screen appearance.
Another Maisel star died tragically several years ago.
