Miss Piggy? More like Miss Worldwide. My girl is everywhere: she’s starring in a new movie produced by Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence, and last month she was arrested at the Sabrina Carpenter concert. The most glamorous muppet has been booked and busy. Now, the world’s most famous pig popped up at the 2025 Game Awards, where she flirted with awards creator Geoff Keighley before she performed later in the evening. “You know I would never turn down an invitation from you. Not after Bora Bora,” Miss Piggy teased as Keighley blushed. “Which was certainly not a bore-a.” Did they hook up? Someone call Kermit, stat! This is what happens when you let Piggy do all the press.
After Keighley and Miss Piggy’s sex life was uncovered in front of a live studio audience, the pig did what she does best: she sang! Rowlf the Dog belatedly joined her on piano as they improvised a song all about video games. Never did I imagine a lifetime where Rowlf would be singing about his friends on Discord. “I know you’ve been all waiting for so long for the delayed release of Hollow Knight: Silksong,” Rowlf howled after naming a bunch of games, including It Takes Two and Kingdom Hearts. “So when I’m Princess Peach wearing my super crown,” Miss Piggy sang. “The Game Awards will always let you down,” Rowlf added before Piggy scolded him. Their appearance, like their song, felt a little random, but it could also be a teaser for a video game-related announcement from the Muppets. May we suggest a Muppets level in a new Kingdom Hearts game? Sora, Donald, and Goofy as puppets would be adorable.
