“Mr. President, would you do the honor?” a referee asked Trump.
As seen in footage circulating all over social media, Trump put the coin in his palm, threw it into the air, and it didn’t spin at all, landing on tails, in favor of the Army Black Knights. (The Navy Midshipmen ultimately won, anyway.)
Social media went wild in response, with many people questioning whether Trump has ever flipped a coin before and mocking the poor effort.
“Trump with one of the worst coin tosses I’ve seen lmao,” one wrote.
“History was made at the Army-Navy Game and it wasn’t just the final score. President Trump redefined the ceremonial coin toss. No flip. No rotation. Just a straight-up lob that left the internet and maybe the referee stunned. He looked like a space alien wholly unfamiliar with the concept. The single worst coin flip in history? An unprecedented new technique?” said another.
“He doesn’t even know how to flip a f*ckin coin. #Trump,” another noted.
Just a few days before, an artist slammed the White House for using their music without permission.
