‘My position was eliminated’: Ex-employee snags top client from agency, old boss panics after losing their business – FAIL Blog

While the outcome for this author here is a one-of-its-kind situation, those of us can at the very least live vicariously through his achievements. Not only was he able to prove himself more than capable of doing what his company claimed he could not do on his own, but his efforts and competence ended up being the very causes of that agency losing its biggest business. 

Imagine how upper management at this agency felt when they realized that they could have harnessed the talents of this author to their own benefit if only they had been more observant of his skills and grateful for his contributions. Instead, they assumed that he would be easily replaceable and that other coworkers could easily take on his work without him. Boy, were they wrong!
