This man shared that he and his wife of 5 years live with his mother. His Mom, as he puts it, “desperately wants a grandchild,” but he and his wife don’t really want a kid right now. 

For a lot of folks, though, if you tell them you don’t want a baby, no matter how strongly you protest, they just can’t fathom it. They believe that everyone wants babies, and even if you say you don’t, you might want one later. Or you might change your mind. Or maybe just think it over, and then you’ll realize that you really do want kids! It’s truly maddening, because you cannot convince some people that grandkids are a zero percent possibility. They have to realize that the hard way, unfortunately, and it seems like that’s how it went down for this couple.
