THIS IS POLITICAL WARFARE. The African National Congress (ANC) is fighting a desperate, bare-knuckle brawl in the streets and courts of South Africa. Their target? The very SOUL of the liberation struggle, which is being STOLEN in broad daylight by political pirates.
At the centre of the battle is a name: uMkhonto weSizwe (MK). This is the sacred name of the ANC’s armed wing, written in the blood of heroes who faced torture, exile, and death. Now, it’s been hijacked. Jacob Zuma’s new political vehicle has BRANDED itself with the MK name and a warrior logo. It’s a calculated, brazen heist designed to CONFUSE voters and steal a legacy it never earned.
But look at the photo evidence. It’s MORE than confusion—it’s an assault on history. This is a party that played NO role in the armed struggle, now dressing in military uniforms it never wore.
This is a PATTERN of theft that reveals a DANGEROUS truth. Every rival party is desperately trying to steal a piece of the ANC’s past. The EFF uses names of ANC icons like Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. The so-called “Congress of the People” (COPE) stole the historic name of the 1955 gathering that birthed the Freedom Charter. Even the opposition DA tries to claim Mandela’s legacy, while their history shows they opposed the struggle.
Perhaps the clearest case is the African Independent Congress (AIC). Their logo? An almost IDENTICAL copy of the ANC’s black, green, and gold. Election observers confirm they win seats SOLELY because voters are tricked into thinking they’re voting for the real ANC. This isn’t politics—it’s PARASITISM.
Why is everyone trying to steal from ONE party? The answer is simple and terrifying: because the ANC’s legacy is the ONLY source of moral authority in South Africa. It’s the story of Mandela, Tambo, and a century of sacrifice. Rivals know they can’t beat that history, so they try to STEAL it. They want to drain the revolution of its meaning and turn heroes into harmless logos.
The battle in the courts is not a legal technicality. It is a last stand to protect a nation’s memory from being erased and SOLD for votes. The people who actually lived the struggle—who carry the scars—are watching as their history is packaged and sold by imposters.
Every stolen symbol is a betrayal of the dead, and a lie told to the living.
