Here’s a rewritten version of the article with a more provocative and controversial tone:

The Apple Vision Pro: A Expensive Failure in the Making

For all its boasts about pushing the boundaries of virtual reality, Apple’s all-singing, all-dancing Vision Pro has failed to set the world on fire. And it’s hard to blame people for being unimpressed – after all, who wants to shell out thousands of dollars for a gadget that’s still in beta?

But Apple’s not done yet. According to reports, the company is planning to add AI features to the visionOS and debut an updated approach to in-store demos. Yeah, because what that headset really needed was more AI-pushed “personalization”. And don’t even get me started on the “Go Deeper” option, which allegedly includes testing office features and watching videos. Because nothing screams “fun” like staring at spreadsheets and cat videos in virtual reality.

And then there’s the new feature that lets users view their own photos and videos in the headset. Because who needs actual social interaction when you can experience the thrill of reliving last year’s vacation in 3D?

But here’s the thing: unless Apple figures out a way to make the Vision Pro more affordable, this whole endeavour is going to be for naught. And let’s be real, the rumors of a cheaper headset with lower-res displays don’t exactly inspire confidence.

Apple’s problem is simple: they’re trying to charge top dollar for a product that doesn’t deliver on its promises. They’re so focused on chasing after the holy grail of lightweight AR glasses that they’re neglecting the fact that the Vision Pro needs to be viable for the masses before it can be a success.

So unless Apple can get its priorities straight and deliver a product that’s both affordable and usable, the Vision Pro is doomed to languish in obscurity. And maybe, just maybe, Apple will finally get the message and focus on something that actually matters – like actually making a profit.
