
The It Ends with Us trial date between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, and others, has been moved.
If you don’t know, the 41-year-old director’s $400 defamation and extortion lawsuit against Blake, his co-star on the infamous film, was ended earlier this year after he failed to meet the deadline to amend the claims and refile. Previously, the case was dismissed by the judge.
Blake‘s lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and retaliation against Justin remains active, and was supposed to kick off in March of 2026.
Now, the trial has been pushed back and the judge, Judge Lewis J. Liman, revealed the news today (December 9).

The civic trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York will now begin on May 18, 2026. He explained that “as important as this case is … criminal trials take precedent,” per People. Apparently, he has 2 criminal trials ahead of this.
