The issue here is that the boss, the adult in the children’s lives, is teaching that it’s okay to touch something that doesn’t belong to them. At what point can we fault young children for habits they develop as a result of poor parenting? At the end of the day, the employee who shares this story has every right to be upset about the children touching their things, but the fault lies mostly with their parent.
Forming healthy habits is integral at such a young age, so when these unhealthy, entitled ways are formed so young, they become more difficult to correct. What do you think?
