“That post led us to the CAR, which led us to the NAME, which led us to PHOTOGRAPHS of the shooter renting the car, which matched the clothing in Providence, which MATCHED the attacker,” the attorney general REVEALED.
The Providence Police Department CONFIRMED the post originated from the Providence subreddit. A user named “claud” claimed to have SPOTTED the shooter walking around at the time of the shooting.
“I’m being dead serious,” he wrote. “The police need to look into a grey Nissan with Florida plates, possibly a rental. That was the car he was driving.”
