The Buffy the Vampire Slayer is coming back, but at least one star of the original show is not.
Since news first broke of the initial castings, several stars have been confirmed for the highly anticipated Hulu revival series, including one beloved returning face and a brand new Slayer.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer began as a 1992 film written by Joss Whedon before debuting as a TV series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar in 1997. Te story continues with a new chapter in the Buffyverse, written by Nora and Lila Zuckerman and directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao.
The world is about to meet the newest generation of Slayers – but one person is definitely not back.
