TOP CHINESE GENERALS UNDER INVESTIGATION AS MILITARY PURGE HITS XI’S INNER CIRCLE. TAIWAN ON HIGH ALERT.
The foundations of China’s military command are shaking. In a shocking Saturday announcement, Beijing revealed two of its most powerful generals are under investigation for “serious violations.” One of them is Zhang Youxia, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission and long considered President Xi Jinping’s CLOSEST ALLY IN THE ARMY.
This isn’t just a corruption scandal. This is a political earthquake at the heart of the force threatening war with Taiwan.
Taiwan’s Defence Minister Wellington Koo reacted immediately, warning his parliament that the island is watching every move. “China has never abandoned the use of force against Taiwan,” Koo stated bluntly, framing the internal purge as a direct security threat. Chinese warplanes and warships harass Taiwan daily, a brutal campaign to force surrender.
The investigation of a combat-hardened general like Zhang exposes fatal cracks in Beijing’s leadership. Yet Taiwan is not fooled. Minister Koo made it clear: “We won’t let the downfall of any one person make us lower our guard.” Taiwan is now ramping up intelligence sharing with partners, scrambling to decode the chaos within China’s war machine.
Why does this matter to the world? Because when a regime obsessed with conquering Taiwan starts devouring its own top commanders, NO ONE can predict its next move. The threat is worsening, the drills are escalating, and the money for war is growing.
Taiwan is preparing for the worst, while Beijing’s generals turn on each other.
One thing is certain: the men who disappear in Beijing today could be the ones ordered to launch an invasion tomorrow.
