So he came up with an even better idea to get them back to her house.
He decided to use her love of expensive items against her better judgment… because, let’s be real, it’s easy to manipulate people who like nice things. If you tell them an ugly bag cost $4,000 in a convincing enough way, that bag might suddenly become beautiful in the eyes of a certain kind of person. For this aunt, she most certainly fell into that category, and that served the author well in the next chapter of his revenge scheme.
