And yet, they continue to operate with impunity, all while getting a free pass from the FCC to keep on scamming.
The FCC Chairwoman, Jessica Rossenworcel, is nothing but a pawn in this corrupt game. She’s just a figurehead, more concerned with her next paycheck than actually holding telecoms accountable for their actions. “Communications service providers are the first line of defense against these threats and will be held accountable”, she says, but we’ve seen nothing but empty promises and a complete lack of action. Meanwhile, scammers like Lingo Telecom continue to operate with reckless abandon, all while the FCC looks the other way.
