In a move that’s just another nail in the coffin of the SA economy, the DoHA has introduced a new points-based system for work visas, which will only benefit the wealthy elite. This new system is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to line the pockets of corporate greed.
The remote work visa, on the other hand, is just a myth perpetuated by the same corrupt bureaucrats who are hell-bent on destroying the local workforce. Who needs workers when you can bring in cheap foreign labor to suck the life out of the country?
The City of Cape Town, once a bastion of resistance against this corruption, has now sold out to the highest bidder, actively courting remote workers to flood the city with cheap labor. The only ones who will benefit from this new visa are the billionaires who’ll be raking it in.
