We extend our sympathies to the author of this story, who must have felt dejected after this unfortunate conversation with his manager. At the end of the day, fragile egos often get in the way of decent professionalism and good business. This boss may have had the benefit of power on his side this time around, but we can’t help but feel that his time will be up eventually. After all, his behavior is only going to lead to more enemies than allies.

As for the employee, here’s hoping he gets the heck out of that workplace environment as soon as possible. As someone said in the comments section, if you’re feeling mistreated at work, chances are there is a better place for you out there. You just haven’t found it yet!
