Jim stopped existing.

No greetings, no eye contact, no acknowledgment. Not even a nod or a smile. Nothing. One day, Jim pulled up next to the coworker, clearly wanting to talk. The coworker waited until Jim’s cart rolled back a little as it stopped, then drove off without saying a word, leaving Jim stuck in the middle of the road.
