When bosses drive all their employees away, they shouldn’t be surprised to find themselves doing all the work instead. That is what happens when no one wants to work for them.
Anyone with a bad boss would absolutely love to see the day their boss is forced to do all the work themselves because they drove everyone else away. Suddenly, they find themselves doing everything they dropped on their employees, working overtime and late at night just to complete tasks no one else is there to do anymore. What better outcome is there from quitting your job?
The boss in the story below discovered there are consequences to his actions in the office in the best way possible. Well, not the best way for him, but the best way for his entire staff, who couldn’t have waited to see him get a taste of his own medicine.
After almost two years of working with this entitled boss, one employee decided enough was enough and handed in their resignation letter, which was the first step in a series of actions that led to the boss’s downfall. After this employee left, they got a job for the boss’s overworked personal assistant, and after the assistant left, six more employees decided to quit as well. All of a sudden, the boss found himself without eight of his employees, and so shorthanded that there was no one to actually do any of the work.
The company knew that the reason all the employees left was because of the boss’s bad attitude towards them, so they demanded that the boss take over all of the work that was left behind. They cancelled the boss’s approved vacation to go to Disneyland with his family, and forced him to stay behind and do the job of almost ten people.
