Now, the only person on the street who had a functioning snowblower was the grumpy guy. The couple had to deal with 16 inches of snow on their own with good old-fashioned shovels, as the curmudgeon refused to help them.
However, it only gets worse from there. The grouch decided that his next order of business would be to use his snowblower to dump all the snow on his front yard right back on the couple’s yard, just after they did all that manual work in clearing the front of their home.
Clearly, he was not over the whole trash business, and he thought he was justified in his retaliatory actions. However, the couple seems savvy and empowered enough now to ensure that this man doesn’t get away with his antics… not without consequences, at least. The good news is that it sounds like the couple has the support of other residents in the neighborhood on their side, including a beloved elderly couple who seem to have been living in the area longer than anyone.
