Epic Games Declares War on Apple’s Monopoly

Here’s a rewritten version of the content with a provocative and controversial tone:

“Get ready for the latest example of Big Tech’s tyrannical grip on the digital world. Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite, is being forced to jump through ridiculous hoops to bring its store to the EU, thanks to the draconian Digital Markets Act.

But don’t just take Epic’s word for it – the company is accusing Apple of being a bunch of bullies who are using their vast resources to stifle competition and protect their own interests. And they’re not alone – the EU is now weighing in, with regulators slapping Apple with fines and threatening to take away their privileges if they don’t shape up.

But Apple isn’t having it, and they’re using every trick in the book to delay and derail Epic’s plans. They’re claiming that Epic’s store looks too similar to their own App Store, and that they’re trying to help Epic get its store approved (yeah, right!). And when that doesn’t work, they’re just flat-out rejecting the application.

It’s a classic case of “do as I say, not as I do,” with Apple insisting that Epic follow the same guidelines they use for their own store – except when it comes to things like the design and copy of the download button. Because, you know, consistency is key… unless you’re trying to stifle competition.

The EU’s Digital Markets Act was supposed to promote competition and innovation, but instead it’s just given Apple more tools to use against its rivals. And Epic is just the latest example of a company that’s being held back by Apple’s stranglehold on the app store.

So, when will the EU finally step in and stop this madness? Until then, get ready for more drama, more delays, and more attempts by Apple to silence its critics. Because when it comes to Big Tech, nothing says “competition” like a bunch of gatekeepers holding all the cards.”
