The convicted drug trafficker, who pleaded guilty to a sprawling cocaine conspiracy, is now attempting a STUNNING PUBLIC REHABILITATION, trading kilos of coke for photo ops with “at-risk” children. In a SHAMELESS statement, the felon claims his focus is now on “giving back” and providing “vision care” for kids—a BRUTAL irony for an artist who helped BLIND a generation to the vicious reality of the drug trade he PROFITED from.
This is MORE than a second chance—it’s a DANGEROUS precedent. While Wap enjoys his freedom under lax supervision, the communities he helped DESTROY are left to pick up the pieces. The justice system has SIGNALED that fame and fortune are the ultimate get-out-of-jail-free cards, allowing a celebrity convict to simply REBRAND his corruption as charity.
