Freddie Highmore just landed a new movie role!
The 33-year-old actor will star in an upcoming romantic comedy for Sony Pictures titled Life on Other Planets, reports Deadline.

Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but the script is from Pat Cunnane, who also penned Eternity, which itself was from the Black List. Freddie will also produce the film through his Alfresco Pictures banner with Claire Londy.
He’s best known for acting in television series like Bates Motel and The Good Doctor, plus movies such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Finding Neverland, The Golden Compass, and The Spiderwick Chronicles. He received a Golden Globe nom for his work on The Good Doctor.
Earlier this year, he starred in the Prime Video series The Assassin, but otherwise he has been keeping it pretty low-key since the ABC show ended.
