Gayle King is speaking out about the drama that is allegedly taking place at CBS Mornings.
The 70-year-old has been on the morning news show for over a decade and was reported to exit next year after her contract is up in May.
During a new appearance on Sherri, which aired this week, Gayle addressed what’s going on behind-the-scenes amid the Paramount Skydance merger.

“I saw those rumors. What I say is this: ‘I’m not going to negotiate in the press,’” Gayle told host Sherri Shepherd. “I hear one thing in the building and one thing outside of the building. I’ll be reading one thing, and I’m like, ‘That’s not true.’”
She did confirm there is in fact “some drama” going on, but she “decided I’m going to stay out of the drama.”
Earlier in the fall, Gayle responded to the reports that she was leaving the show, saying she likes it here and they “like the job I’m doing.”
