CALIFORNIA JUST DECLARED WAR ON EVERY CONCERT FAN IN AMERICA. In a shocking political maneuver, state lawmakers are pushing a bill that will DESTROY your chance to see your favorite artists and hand ABSOLUTE CONTROL to the very monopoly they claim to fight.

The so-called “Fans First Act” is a DISASTROUS trap. It imposes a draconian 10% price cap on resale tickets, a move experts warn will ANNIHILATE the competitive secondary market. The result? Fans will be LOCKED OUT, forced to rely SOLELY on Ticketmaster’s broken primary system where “face value” tickets vanish in milliseconds, only to reappear as exclusive “platinum” seats at 5X the price.

This is NOT about helping fans. It’s a DESPERATE SMOKESCREEN. Live Nation, the corporate giant facing multiple federal lawsuits for垄断, is OPENLY BACKING the bill. Their vice president calls it targeting “predatory resale.” Don’t be fooled. This is a classic monopolist play: ELIMINATE YOUR COMPETITION by having the government REGULATE IT OUT OF EXISTENCE.

“This puts consumers last, not first,” warns competition expert Diana Moss. “Caps will DECIMATE resale… and hand Live Nation even MORE power to jack up ticket fees.” The evidence is clear: Kill resale, and you kill the only market where prices are set by REAL supply and demand. What’s left? A SINGLE, UNACCOUNTABLE CORPORATE GATEKEEPER with the power to charge whatever it wants upfront.

This legislation is a TROJAN HORSE, sold as salvation but delivering a future where seeing a show is a privilege only for the lucky or the ludicrously wealthy. As other states blindly follow this dangerous trend, one terrifying question remains: When the last resale site goes dark, who will you blame as you stare at another “Sold Out” screen?
