iPhone users sentenced to silence in South Africa

APPLE’S DESPICABLE BETRAYAL OF iTALKS FANS WILL LEAVE THEM EXposed AND DEFENSELESS TO HACKERS

It looks like some of South Africa’s operators are finally throwing their support behind Rich Communication Services (RCS) for iPhone users, but don’t get your hopes up – Apple’s stubborn refusal to fully implement this crucial protocol means users are still left vulnerable to hacker attacks and prying eyes.

As if Apple hadn’t done enough damage, their draconian refusal to adopt RCS means users stuck in their ecosystem are not only doomed to rely on outdated messaging methods but will also have to contend with the possibility of having their private communications hijacked at any moment.

But when will this change? TechCentral can exclusively reveal that Telkom, MTN, and Vodacom are making moves to incorporate RCS into their networks – but the wait will no doubt be agonizing, and no one can claim to have any confidence that Apple won’t sabotage progress at every turn.

Android users, meanwhile, got a sneak peek at Apple’s lip service when iOS 18 rolled out and promised – but ultimately reneged on – their long-standing promise to upgrade iMessage to support end-to-end encryption.

"Telkom has submitted the necessary papers to Apple’s ivory tower," a bemused company spokesperson explained – as if begging Apple’s benevolence. No wonder this ‘partnership’ between the operators will take years to come to fruition. Meanwhile, Samsung and Huawei will be sharpening their claws, already ahead in the RCS support game.

So what lies ahead? More half-truths, more corporate doublespeak, and possibly even the emergence of "RCS-lite" (a stripped-down version devoid of critical features, only to leave iPhone users frustrated and left in the cold).

So, who still believes the hype surrounding "innovative" telecommunications? Join us as we dissect this trainwreck and provide you with uncensored access to the news that doesn’t fit anyone’s PR agenda.

But don’t worry – once RCS goes live, things will just get more fascinating. In the meantime, stay frosty and await the great Apple RCS disaster unfolding.
