It was just reported that the franchise’s original stars will be coming back for the upcoming prequel movie, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, according to THR.

While their returns to the franchise is being revealed, it’s unclear on what roles they will take on, as the upcoming movie takes place 24 years before their original movies.
This marks a reunion for Jennifer, Josh and filmmaker Francis Lawrence (no relation), who is returning at the helm once again. He previously directed the two actors in the first four movies.
Just Jared has reached out to Lionsgate to confirm the exciting news, but has not heard back.
The Insneider was first to report the actor’s involvement in the upcoming prequel.
