Joe Wicks, the popular British fitness coach, author, influencer and entrepreneur, has signed with WME.
Known to many as “The Body Coach,” Wicks has become a major name in health, fitness and witness, building an online community and selling hundreds of thousands of cook books. Having started off by posting 15-second recipe videos on social media, Wicks later grew his brand to become one of the most followed fitness accounts on Instagram and YouTube.
Wicks’ award-winning Body Coach app, launched in 2020, has become one of the U.K.’s leading platforms designed to help people of all ages and abilities get fitter, healthier and happier.
As an author, Wicks has sold over 5 million cookbooks, spanning the hit “Lean in 15” series and multiple additional titles.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Wicks profile soared thaks to “PE With Joe,” a daily live YouTube workout that millions took part in. One of these videos was awarded a Guinness World Record for “most viewers for a fitness workout live stream on YouTube” after achieving over 950,000 viewers.
Also in 2020, Wicks completed a 24-hour workout challenge, raising more than £2 million ($2.6 million) for Children in Need, and was awarded an MBE for his outstanding services to fitness and charity.
Wicks continues to expand his presence across television, digital content, publishing and live events, including his new animated children’s fitness series “Activate,” aimed at encouraging kids to move more. He also leads philanthropic initiatives through the Body Coach Foundation.
