THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED: Justice Denied as Killers Walk Free While Victims Are Forgotten
Our justice system is BROKEN. Every day, court delays, legal loopholes, and secretive parole boards let violent criminals back onto our streets. The victims are left with lifelong trauma, while lawyers game the system for their clients.
Look at the brutal tactic of the late Kemp J Kemp SC: his so-called “Stalingrad defence” shopped cases around different courts—all at TAXPAYER EXPENSE—just to delay justice and keep dangerous clients out on bail. It’s a travesty.
But the outrage doesn’t stop in the courtroom. Parole boards are just ticking boxes. Serve half your sentence, sit through a few classes, and convicted killers and sex offenders get a “very good chance” of release. The media can’t even NAME a teenage murderer because of his age when he killed.
Who pays the price? Families like Rob and Sharon Matthews, who fought to keep their daughter Leigh’s murderer, Donovan Moodley, behind bars. Alison Botha’s rapists were almost freed until Minister Pieter Groenewald intervened. Why is a politician our last line of defense?
The rights of criminals are prioritized. The safety of the public is an afterthought. The so-called “rehabilitation” is a sick joke played on a grieving nation.
This isn’t just about law—it’s about who the system truly serves. And it’s clearly not you.
