He was flabbergasted. This was a new level of disorganization. Seriously, who gets officially hired with zero paperwork done? He never got a phone call or email. Somewhere, something got seriously miscommunicated and, most likely, lost in the shuffle. An incompetent hiring manager probably messed something up and didn’t want to admit to it, so just let everything carry on, and no one wins.
