Most of these employees opted to pretend like all of a sudden their internet was not working and they couldn’t turn their cameras on or they had to stay on mute. Some just muscled through it in silence with a frown on their face. Personally, I think, if they wanted a party, show them a party: Mandatory online meeting? Okay, then I’m making myself a margarita. Sorry, you didn’t want us on mute, so you are going to hear the blender. Oh? I thought this was supposed to be fun, what do you mean I can’t drink on company time? Is this not a party? Maybe let me go live my life at the end of the day right before the weekend? 

Maybe that’s just me though…
