One of the more concerning parts of this author’s account was the anecdote in which a new massage therapist joined the business and complained that the author was getting paid more. Now, that was the case because the author had been working there longer and had seven more years of experience than her new colleague. Still, matters were made worse when her boss stepped in and used this dispute as another opportunity to decrease the author’s wages.
It seems like this dude will do anything and everything to get away with paying people less. Meanwhile, he was making a ton more money than his employees and yet claimed that he was struggling to make ends meet for his family. Talk about a tonally unaware remark when your own employees are objectively struggling way more!
