Michigan Reportedly Fires Head Coach Sherrone Moore After 2 Seasons

Sherrone Moore’s time in Ann Arbor is over.

Michigan has fired Moore as head coach after two seasons, ESPN reported Wednesday. The firing will be for cause, ESPN added in its report. 

Moore was 13-8 in his two seasons as Michigan’s head coach. He also served as Michigan’s acting head coach during Jim Harbaugh’s suspension in 2023, winning all four games he coached that year.
