Those sports kids are built tough! They go to school all day, attend frequent practices and games after school, then still have to manage their homework and social life after all that is done. 

These 3 days would be the perfect time for the GF to hang out with her own friends instead of her BF. I mean, at the very least, she could hang out with friends while she’s waiting several hours for him to get done. This makes it seem like she’s just sitting in her car from 3 PM until football practice lets out, which is wasting hours of valuable time.
