It’s finally time for another quest! Percy Jackson and the Olympians is back for Season 2, and I could not be more excited. Adapted from Rick Riordan’s second book in the series, the second season is bigger and better than ever as we journey to the Sea of Monsters.
So, to celebrate the return of this incredible book-to-TV adaptation — that I’ve been waiting for since I was, like, 13 — we had Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, aka Percy, Annabeth, and Grover, play with puppies while answering all of our burning questions.
It’s as wholesome and adorable as it sounds, even if the puppies were hilariously avoiding Walker during some of it.
They revealed the actors they would LOVE to see guest-star in possible future seasons of Percy Jackson and which gods they would want them to play. Like Logan Lerman, Danny DeVito, Sterling K. Brown, and Zendaya.
Aryan and Walker revealed that Percy’s line in Season 2, Episode 2, where he tells Grover he’s beautiful, was improvised, and made it into the final cut.
And they all told us what they’ve taken from the set over the past two seasons, with Leah revealing she took most of Annabeth’s costume.
