The cast of Percy Jackson and the Olympians bring season two to London!
Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri pose together at the series’ premiere event held at Picturehouse Central on Wednesday (December 10) in London.
They were also joined by co-stars Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, Daniel Diemer, Tamara Smart and Toby Stephens, as well as author Rick Riordan and wife Becky, who serve as executive producers.
Just Jared recently caught up with the cast to chat about the second season, which just debuted the first two episodes on Disney+ and Hulu, and we found out what the most challenging part of filming was.

“I think it’s a lot of action, and it’s a lot of crazy things to believe in your mind, if that makes sense,” Walker exclusively shared. “And what made it a lot easier was that everything, for the most part, was there. Like, Laistrygonians, they were dudes covered in makeup and…”
“It was all practical,” Charlie interjected.
Dior added that for her, one of the most challenging aspects was the emotional part.
“Prepping yourself to be so vulnerable on camera,” she told us. “Even though I wouldn’t consider it to be a challenge because I enjoyed it. It was healthily challenging, if that makes sense. Every challenge was a healthy one.”
Charlie also shared that he’s never done a more deep dive into character research to understand them on a “super soulful level,” as he did for season two, and the upcoming third season, which they are taking a break from filming to promote season two.
