When the snow starts to pile up 8 inches high, it’s time to shovel — too bad these neighbors can’t agree on who should claim a shoveled parking space.
How do we all feel about snow days in this modern age of ours? I know they used to be a major sore spot for drivers — it is pretty annoying to have to clean all that ice off your car, not to mention the hassle of shoveling your driveway. But now snowdays happen much less than they used to, and they dump much less snow on the ground, too. This might make us appreciate them a tad bit more… but not while we’re shoveling, of course.
Shoveling snow is one of my least favorite chores, and I know I’m not alone in my dislike of it. It takes forever. It’s grueling. You sweat through your snowsuit, so you’re both cold and hot at the same time. If you have a long driveway, forget about it — you’ll be stuck out there for hours!
This person lives in an apartment complex, which makes things easier in some cases. Usually, the building is responsible for snow removal. But that may not apply to individual parking spaces. Those might have to be cleared by the actual tenants themselves. Plus, if you need to leave your place before the snow plows show up, you have 0 choice but to break out your own snow shovel and get to work.
In a mildly infuriating twist of fate, this person shoveled their way through 8 inches of snow before having their hard work snatched from their grasp by a neighbor. If that happened to me, I’d be tempted to put all that snow back in place, nestling their car inside a nice big coating of snow. This person had an even better idea though, which didn’t involve picking up a shovel again. Read all about it below! And see for yourself if you think this person went too far, or if their icy revenge was a stroke of genius. I have no idea how their neighbor would recover his car… but he learned an important lesson that he won’t soon forget!
