Funny how her boss didn’t give a care in the world that someone was stealing lunches. If I were the boss, I would consider that a huge threat to the healthy office dynamic. Makes you wonder if maybe the boss was the one who decided interns meant a free lunch… 

This kind of revenge is innocent, since the bugs are perfectly consumable. But also brilliant because ewwwwww. Unless you are used to consuming bugs, taking a bite out of some without anticipating it is potentially traumatizing. And the boss can’t say anything about it, or else they would have to confess to the crimes! Or maybe not the boss… Innocent until proven guilty, I guess. But they’re definitely a suspect IMO.
