At the end of the episode, Matt confesses his love to Eve, just for her to reveal that she’s moving to Korea to be a choreographer for a K-pop group for five months—potentially longer if things go well.
With the understanding that a long-distance relationship would be really hard, the pair choose to break up, despite loving each other.
Does that mean Jenna will no longer be on the show with her character leaving for a while?
Five months is really not that long of a break for a relationship, military couples do that and more often. Given that the Dark Winds actress is already in a recurring role, it wouldn’t be unheard of for her to come and go.
Earlier this year, she told Us Weekly that she “loves doing scenes with Tim,” and in general enjoys working on the show, so it’d be a surprise if she decided to leave it after just two seasons.
There was recently a Last Man Standing reunion between Tim Allen and one of his former co-stars.
