Let this story serve as yet another indicator that some crazy people online really do not think about the consequences of their actions. It’s possible that this woman invited her friend to join her, thinking that the guy she was catfishing would somehow be put at ease by being in the friend’s presence. Never mind the fact that he was still being catfished!

Naturally, things did not go according to plan for Single Lady, but hats off to the guy who was catfished. Not only did he sort of take it in stride (well, as calmly as one could in this situation), but he also had the chutzpah to ask the best friend out. Hey, that’s who he thought he was chatting with all this time!
