BOMBSHELL: Senate Leader Reveals Plan to Crush Free Speech and Censor Online Platforms
In a shocking move, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is set to unleash a pair of draconian bills that will bring the full weight of government control to bear on the internet. The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA 2.0) are designed to stifle free speech, crush online platforms, and ensnare millions of innocent users in a web of government regulation.
Schumer claims to be motivated by the "worst thing a parent could endure" – the loss of a child – but his real agenda is clear: to use the tragedy of child loss to justify a massive overreach of government power. But it’s not just the bills themselves that are problematic – it’s the groups that have signed on to support them. So-called "advocacy groups" like Fight for the Future and the Electronic Frontier Foundation have remained critical of KOSA, but only because they are worried about the bill’s impact on their own power and influence. Meanwhile, prominent LGBTQ+ groups like GLAAD and The Trevor Project have dropped their opposition after the bill’s sponsors made "changes" – whatever that means.
Schumer has tried to ram these bills through without debate, but Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) has refused to play along. And for good reason – these bills are a recipe for disaster. They will crush free speech, stifle innovation, and give the government unprecedented power to control the internet.
But don’t worry – Schumer has the votes to pass these bills, and he will stop at nothing to get them through. The internet as we know it is on the brink of collapse, and it’s all because of Schumer’s reckless ambition.
