The Abandons is a hit!
The Netflix series premiered earlier this month on the streamer.
And as of mid-December, the show is currently at the No. 4 spot on the Netflix Top 10 for TV.
Here’s a synopsis of the Western drama TV series, which hit the streamer on Thursday (December 4): “Washington Territory – 1854 – The matriarchs of two very different families — one of wealth and privilege bound by blood, the other a found family of orphans and outcasts bound by love and necessity — find their fates linked by two crimes, an awful secret, a star-crossed love, and a piece of land with silver underneath. The collision echoes the American struggle of the haves and have-nots, in a place just beyond the reach of justice.”

But will it be getting a second season?
As of right now, Netflix has not renewed The Abandons for Season 2, nor has it been cancelled.
The show currently commands a 30% Rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes, with an audience score of 49%.
