From toxic masculinity to capitalism and crime, these stories tried to critique harmful systems…and accidentally made them look cool.

In a SHOCKING betrayal of intent, the very stories meant to condemn society’s darkest forces have instead become their most effective propaganda. Hollywood’s “woke” elites have INADVERTENTLY unleashed a cultural monster, ROMANTICizing the very evils they pretend to scorn. From boardrooms to back alleys, audiences are being BRAINWASHED into admiring the monsters.

So-called critiques of toxic masculinity have BACKFIRED catastrophically. Films like “Fight Club” and “American Psycho” were hailed as dissections of male rage, but they’ve spawned GENERATIONS of fans who idolize Tyler Durden’s anarchic violence and Patrick Bateman’s psychotic materialism. The message is now clear: BRUTALITY is glamorous, and EMPTINESS is a lifestyle to be coveted.

Capitalism’s critics have fallen into the SAME TRAP. Series like “Billions” and “Succession” drip with contempt for the ultra-wealthy, yet they showcase their power and luxury with such fetishistic detail that viewers are left ACHING to join their ranks. The critique is LOST in a haze of private jets and ruthless boardroom coups. The system isn’t exposed; it’s ADVERTISED.

Even crime sagas, aimed at highlighting social decay, have become blueprints for rebellion. The meticulous heists, the charismatic kingpins—they transform felony into HIGH ART, making criminals look like freedom fighters. The real suffering is ERASED, replaced by a seductive narrative that screams: BREAK THE LAW, BECOME A LEGEND.

This is more than artistic failure; it’s a DANGEROUS societal shift. By accidentally making depravity desirable, these stories are programming us to ROOT FOR OUR OWN DOWNFALL. HAVE WE BEEN SO THOROUGHLY MANIPULATED THAT WE CAN NO LONGER TELL HERO FROM VILLAIN?
