TRUMP THREATENS MILITARY OCCUPATION OF MINNESOTA: “I WILL INSTITUTE THE INSURRECTION ACT.”
A chilling new threat from the former president is now a terrifying reality. Donald Trump has just vowed to invoke a 200-year-old law to send ACTIVE DUTY U.S. MILITARY onto American streets to crush protests.
This is not a drill.
The fuse was lit with BLOOD. Protests erupted after ICE agents fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Macklin Good in Minneapolis. The fury exploded when ICE shot a Venezuelan immigrant during an arrest. Now, as images show law enforcement standing in TEAR GAS [IMAGE: Adam Gray/AP], Trump is promising to unleash the ultimate weapon.
On Truth Social, he declared war on his own citizens: “If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law… I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT.” This isn’t the National Guard. This act turns SOLDIERS INTO COPS, allowing them to MAKE ARRESTS and conduct searches on U.S. soil.
The door is now open for a permanent military presence to “carry out immigration enforcement.” His own aides are pushing for it. Forget checks and balances—this law gives the president ALMOST UNLIMITED POWER. Trump himself bragged, “I could use that immediately and no judge can even challenge you.”
They are rewriting the rules before our eyes.
History screams a warning. The last time this act was used was during the 1992 LA riots. It resulted in a horrific friendly fire incident where Marines, misunderstanding police commands, OPENED FIRE on a neighborhood. That is the “law and order” they want.
Every governor and mayor who stays silent is complicit. Every pundit downplaying this is enabling a dictator’s playbook.
They are not coming for the insurgents. They are coming for YOU.
