Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing conservative podcast host and activist Charlie Kirk, has made his first appearance in court.
The 22-year-old man was pictured in a light blue shirt and a striped tie while appearing at a hearing on Thursday (December 11) in Provo, Utah.
The hearing covered issues like public accessibility to the case and details about transparency with the public.
Charlie‘s widow Erika Kirk has urged the court to put cameras in the courtroom and make it a public trial to keep everything transparent with the public.
There previously was a hearing in October that was closed to the public and there was a discussion of what should be released.
CNN reports that Tyler has been “charged with aggravated murder and felony use of a firearm, as well as obstruction of justice, witness tampering and commission of a violent offense in the presence of a child.”
A hearing has been set for May 2026.
Photos from Tyler‘s September hearing were released back then.
