UW Scholar Mara Maughan’s Alleged Assassination Post Sparks Firestorm

A TAXPAYER-FUNDED researcher at the University of Washington is under fire after being exposed for posting a CHILLING call for the ASSASSINATION of conservative figures—and the university’s WEAK response has critics warning of an ACADEMIC TERROR CELL operating with impunity.

Mara Maughan, a microbiology researcher at UW, invoked the name of alleged assassin Tyler Robinson in a Facebook comment directed at conservative leader Corey DeAngelis, writing: “May there be tyler robinsons for you all.” This is not a joke. This is a DEATH WISH issued from inside a prestigious institution.

This VIOLENT RHETORIC is a DIRECT THREAT, normalizing political murder against anyone who dares to dissent from the radical left’s agenda. Shockingly, Maughan’s profile boasts she/they pronouns and identifies as a “trans vaccine scientist” who has “turned into the joker.” Is this the face of modern academia? A publicly funded employee fantasizing about becoming a comic book villain and targeting political opponents?

Critics are BLASTING the University of Washington for its PATTERN of tolerating and enabling this extremism. “UW administrators claim they oppose violence, but their actions speak louder than their word,” said Adam Guillette of Accuracy in Media. The university is already under federal investigation, yet it continues to harbor staff who preach HATRED and VIOLENCE.

In a MILQUETOAST statement, a UW spokesperson said they “denounce violence” and are “reviewing the specifics.” This is a STALL TACTIC. Where is the IMMEDIATE TERMINATION? Where is the UNEQUIVOCAL CONDEMNATION? Their silence is COMPLICITY.

Corey DeAngelis, the target of the venomous post, told Fox News Digital this rhetoric “fuels a dangerous environment where radical ideologies in academia… threaten our freedoms and safety without accountability.” He is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
