It seems pretty obvious that any sudden layoff around the time of her medical leave seems like a retaliatory response…So we’re not so sure how much of a risk they are willing to take in order to fulfill this VP’s wishes. But why should the brunt of it all have to fall on this sweet employee, forced to be the medical messenger of the month? We don’t know about this employee, but we personally wouldn’t appreciate the idea of receiving a phone call about our sudden termination while we’re two spoons deep into our pudding cup, lying in our hospital gowns…
